Yes, they serve a really awesome muffalatta sandwich. The full round will serve 4 and the half round will serve two or a really hungry person. All the meats, cheese, good bread, and olive relish.
6- 10 dollars, plan on 13-14 dollars if you want a drink and a side. The portions are generally BIG and very good!

I've seen special days that they've done then but not all the time.
Not much to look at but what great food. Best frying I've had in Springfield: light, crunchy and not greasy tasting. If you're lucky enough to come when fried pickles are available don't hesitate. Handmade, sweet, spicy, and crunchy. Everything we had was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Best oyster po boy, and fried pickles. So nice to have such a great option on the east side we have been eating here for years and never had anything I didn't love!
I've never had any kind of Cajun food before, but man this place makes some great food. Service is amazing highly highly recommend this place. Feels like a mom and pop kind of vibe.
Our server was so nice and the food was absolutely delicious. Fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, boudin balls, sweet potato fries, chicken poboy and the shrimp and grits hit the spot. Can't wait to go back and try something else.
The food was delicious and the service was good.
The jambalaya is excellent. The fish was good. The okra is a little too salty. The service was excellent. Overall the food is great.
We had the shrimp and chicken pasta creole with a creamy white sauce and it was SUPERB!! THE BEST WE'VE EVER EATEN. Also, the staff were very friendly and curtious!! Definitely recommend. And the fried green tomatoes and pickles were super yummy also!! Definitely will return and will recommend!! A little bit pricey but great portions!!
Good food. The fried oysters were small for the price though. Really loved the Po'Boy!
We are never disappointed in anything we eat here. Oyster PoBoy! 5 Stars from me!
The gumbo was cold and there was no depth or richness to the broth. The Boudin balls didnt appear to have any boudin in them but stringy chicken and something crunchy? For the price, we expected more especially driving an hour to get there. Probably would not come back. Sad
Amazing food and tasted pretty darn close to when I stayed around the lower districts in New Orleans. The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. If you have the chance, try the bread pudding! It will knock your socks off!
Shrimp and grits fed three, it was amazing! Everyone wanna go back for more. Red beans and rice was bland and the portion was unfair for the price. The fried oysters come from heaven.
Great food as always. Red beans and rice with sausage was great as was my personal favorite boudin balls!!!
If you pay with a card you get to pay for that convenience... but, if you pay cash their's a discount. The food is great and the bread pudding is a must.
The best Cajun food around
My family & I love this place! The food is always delicious & the people are friendly. I don't think there's anywhere else in SW MO where you can get Cajun food this good. The shrimp ettoufee is my favorite, great flavor!
I really hate to do this & it is upsetting to us. Several things, after the mask mandate we went in for a to go order. Before I left 3 people were not wearing them. They now also charge for using our debt card. The fresh water meal was not even close to what I had last time there. Next time we have Cajun food we will wonder on down the road. I've never had fish before that wasn't tender with my fork there ( which instead of the park to eat we ended up driving home because there wasn't any napkins or utensils with our order).
Blackened chicken Po-boy, side of dirty rice jambalaya. So good. Well worth the trip from Charlotte...okay, seeing the family is good too, but Big Easy is the real reason we make the trip. Just don't tell the kids!
Oyster po boy half 850 3 oysters couldn't taste the oysters, shrimp and grits 1150 4 shrimp and alot of salt fried green tomatoes 695 perfect the sauce that came with it again way too much salt catfish sandwich was good fries 250 not too bad won't be back the staff was friendly the restaurant was clean
My friend and I ate lunch there and we enjoyed most of the food. The red beans were somewhat bland, but the andouille, gumbo, cajun pasta. and boudain were very tasty. The French bread and remoulade were nice as well. Recommended.
Great food. The Cajun style jambalaya is truly Cajun and not for the faint of heart. I love it but if you don't like hot stuff then you should go with the dirty jambalaya. Still great flavors just not as hot. The portions are huge and the leftovers could often feed you again. Great place for Cajun food in the Ozarks.
Really enjoyed eating here. Had a delicious Catfish Po'boy and some Fried Okra for my side. Decent portions, a bit messy though, so have napkins ready at your side. Great restaurant hidden away in a strip mall. Definitely worth checking out!
Excellent. Had the pork loin sandwich. Was the best I've ever had and the biggest. Fresh homemade chips and great coleslaw. The beinegne were excellent.
Love to eat here but a little pricey for rice base food. But I love to eat here. I would eat there much more but $10.00 for jambalaya and small piece of bread is high priced I think. Sorry.
Good food. Definitely get a lot to eat. Ask for recommendations because they have alot on the menu.
Our family frequently travels to New Orleans and have spent several weeks in the French Quarter over in the last few years, often eating two or three times a day at as many different restaurants as we can throughout the quarter. The food at Big Easy Grill is very authentic and is just as delicious as anything we've had had in the quarter; red beans and sausage, etouffee, jambalaya (either style), boudin balls, and many other items are fantastic. One of our favorite spots in Springfield!
We had a great lunch. Roast Beef Po Boys and homemade chips.
We were greeted with a smile and welcome. Service was prompt even though he was the only server working. We got refills and our food came out hot and delicious. I found this place because of google maps and im so glad we tried it!!! We had a little bit of everything from the catfish dinner to a shrimp po'boy. My favorite was the Muffalata! If i am ever back in Springfield i will definatly be returning!!
The seafood gumbo and jambalaya are awesome. Portions are gigantic. Staff is very friendly.
Best cat fish you will find.
This is hands down a top 5 restaurant in my opinion. I had the shrimp boil and it was amazing. My girlfriend had the seafood gumbo, and was blown away by how good it was. Everything was cooked perfectly and wasn't dry. We took the trip from Walnut Grove just to try the place. Don't miss out on this place.
Really great food and reasonable prices. The fried catfish filet as a side works as a meal and would be enough to make you return if that was the only thing on the menu. Etouffe was a little thick for me but was tasty!
Delicious Cajun style food at very reasonable prices. Good beer selection too with some Abita always on draft. I love fried oysters so I will be a regular customer here.
This place is just amazing, great food, great atmosphere, and great wait staff. The portions are filling, I have had just about everything on the menu, and it's all great. Notable mention would be the catfish, crawfish etouffee and gumbo. I would also like to mention that again the service is great, as an example of this, my wife was recently diagnosed as a celiac. Now Cajun food in general is not known for being gluten free. However when the wait staff learned of my wife's condition they had the chef prepare a Gluten free version of the etouffee. Even though they do not advertise this. The staff knew what they were doing. And successfully made a dish that was in fact gluten free. Just amazing service and food. We love this place and will continue to go here for years to come. Thanks Big Easy Grill for being awesome!!!
Really enjoyed the food. There service was OUTSTANDING, and friendly. I had the fried shrimp po boy, it was good, and the home made chips we also. Definitely will be back, I want to try more things.
Good service. And shrimp boil was awesome. However jambalaya and gumbo was very under seasoned.
Had the shrimp po boy, it was fantastic. Great atmosphere and awesome service...
Great for and super quick service 😊
Love the food! Best bread pudding.. the shrimp boil on the weekends is bomb.. gumbo is amazing and the people are just wonderful
The food was delicious! Big servings. They forgot part of our order but the food was so good it made up for it. Do wish they would offer a military discount. Definitely going back!
This place. THIS PLACE. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND EAT HERE. Not a single thing I've had that I dont love, and the catfish most of all. And the COLESLAW. Holy moly. So tasty! Even to go :)
The etouffee is delish.
Been going eating here for a while, and will keep going back. Good food. Lunch service is a smidge slow, but still worth it.
First timer today and the food was out of this world!! BEST seafood gumbo I've ever had!! Great staff and service from everyone we saw and asked questions to. I will DEFINITELY be back sooon!!
Wow...wow... wow!!! The muffuletta was one of the best I've ever had and the jambalaya is tasty! Pretty sure they use a smoked paprika and it was the best thing ever. I've not had traditional creole food in YEARS!! The last time I was in New Orleans was 15 years ago. This meal just sent me through a time warp!! All I need is chicory coffee and beignets!!
The roast beef was dry, no brown gravy. Some kind of orange grease. The okra was so salty and red beans and rice was dry. It tasted burnt and old. Big Easy Grill had a name of New Orleans style, but the food is not close. For I am New Orleans born.
First visit. Greeted immediately. Areas clean. Waiter came quickly. Food was delicious. Prices fair.
While I preferred the old location for the atmosphere, the new location has a lot more seating while not giving up the core feel of the place. Food is excellent every time I've gone and I've always had good service. Best Cajun place in Springfield that I've been to.
This place is good. Not quite the French Quarter but really good. The bread is right.
